Hi Friend

This week I want to do something a little different.

The Crone Stories podcast launched and I am still catching my breath at the response. The listens. The messages. The women writing to tell me which moment landed for them and why. I have spent months building this quietly, mostly on faith, often wondering if anyone would actually want to hear what these women had to say. And then you showed up. So many of you. I am genuinely so grateful I do not have the words for it yet.

So this week, no question. No homework. No prompt to carry around. Just a small gift and an introduction.

Five minutes above the noise

I just recorded a new meditation. A five minute guided reset to take you above the noise of your own life, so you can see its whole shape and ask the one question that changes everything.

Is this the life I would choose, if I were choosing it now.

You do not need a quiet house or a cushion or anything at all. Just five minutes and a willingness to stop. Lie down, put your earbuds in, and let me take you up to the chair above your life. You can come back to it any time you need it. In the school pickup line. Standing at the kitchen sink. The height is the whole practice.

This is for the woman who built a good life and somewhere in the building stopped recognising it as hers. You built it. You can build differently. But first you have to look at it.

Going forward this meditation will be the free gift for new subscribers. But I wanted you to have it first, because you have been here all along.

It is yours. Save it. Use it whenever you need it. Send it to a friend who needs five minutes off her own treadmill.

A woman I want you to meet

This Friday, June 19th, the first full story of The Crone Stories drops. Her name is Angie. The episode is about grief. About what gets taken and what gets revealed when there is nothing left to perform.

Angie said something at the very beginning of our conversation. She said that grief does not stay buried. It waits. And when a new loss arrives, it opens every old room back up again. All the doors you thought you had closed. You walk back in. And everyone is still there.

If you have ever lost someone, and I imagine many of you have, you already know exactly what she means.

Her episode is called The Woman Underneath.

You can find The Crone Stories wherever you listen to podcasts, and bring some tissues. You might need them.

Check out the links below. If you follow or subscribe you will never miss a woman’s story.

Thank you again for being here. For listening. For replying to these letters. For trusting me with what you are working through. I do not take any of it lightly.

This work, all of it, only matters because you are on the other side of it.

In love, light and laughter — Karen
