Twenty one days of showing up for yourself. Of going places alone, of trying on things you would never have reached for, of saying no and sitting in the quiet and following threads you had forgotten were yours.
My wish for you is that if your life felt like somebody else's when you began, a little of it has come back. A bit more peace than you had on day one. A bit more of yourself.
THE QUESTION
Who is she, this woman who turned up every single day for herself?
THE QUEST
And keep her, your leading lady letter. She is sitting there waiting for you a year from now, but why wait.
If we stop pointing at where we want to go, we end up going somewhere we never wanted. So read her every morning. With your pages, or before you even get out of bed, while it is still quiet and nobody wants anything from you yet.
And change her. Cross bits out. Write in the margins. A new interest turns up, a different no lands, something you wanted in August you do not want by October. Good. She is yours. Keep her messy and keep her in front of you.
Then today, take that girl out. Both of you. Celebrate her, celebrate what the two of you have done together, and make it good.
My wish is that somewhere in these twenty one days you saw how beautiful you are. How brave. How talented. How wise.
I hope you can see yourself with the grace and the reverence and the wisdom you deserve.

THE RHYTHM
Keep it. All of it. It was never a challenge, it was a rhythm, and it survives the twenty one days.
🌅 Ten minutes of quiet before your phone
📓 Three pages of whatever falls out
🚶♀️ Ten minutes of moving, outside if you can
🌙 Ten minutes of quiet before bed
📵 Less news, less scrolling

The letter goes back to Mondays from here.
You built this life. Which means you're the only one who can build something different.
In love, light and laughter,
Karen
P.S. Show me where you went. #LeadingLady21
