Hello friend,

First, a confession. Last week an email meant for a small handful of very quiet inboxes went out to every single one of you. If you opened a message from me that made no sense for you, that one was mine. Not a glitch, not the platform. Me. I built that email and I pressed the button. I am sorry to add junk to your inbox.

WHERE WE LEFT OFF

Last week I invited you to look for one pivot. Not a blown up life, just one small turn that would give you more joy. I hope that question has been riding around with you all week, in the car, in the garden, in the quiet minute before everyone else wakes up.

Mine has. And once I stopped cringing about that email, I had to laugh. I spend every Monday asking you to look honestly at what you have built. So here I was, looking at mine. Seen. Owned. And now I get to do differently, which brings me to my pivot.

THIS WEEK

I write to you every week, and somewhere along the way I realised I have been guessing what you want to hear from me. Guessing is what we do when we are afraid to ask. So my one small turn this week is this: I am turning the letter around and asking you.

Summer is long and beautiful and it is ours. I want to build a summer series with you, not just for you. Here is what is on my mind. Tell me which one makes you lean forward.

Solo side quests. One small dare each week to take yourself somewhere alone, on purpose.

Deeper questions. One honest question to carry for seven days, the kind that works on you quietly.

A declutter summer. Room by room, drawer by drawer, asking the only question that matters: who did this belong to, and is she still here?

Stories from the road. More of the real conversations I am having with women just like you, and what they are teaching me. This could look like me with a fuzzy mic at the farmer’s market. Out on the street.

Or something I have not thought of. You know what you need better than I do. That is rather the whole point around here.

Guessing is what we do when we are afraid to ask.

A QUESTION TO CARRY

While you are deciding, here is the question to carry into your week. No answer required yet. Let it work on you.

If this summer could hand you back one thing you’ve been carrying, what would it be?

Hit reply and tell me which summer series pulls at you. One word is enough. What you choose is what we will spend our summer doing.

In love, light and laughter,

Karen

P.S. We will still be meeting bi weekly with the amazing women who are giving their heart and their stories to The Crone Stories podcast.
