THE CRONE STORIES
One thousand downloads.
This week The Crone Stories passed one thousand downloads. When I started this, I had no idea whether anyone would listen. That number belongs to the nine women who trusted me with their stories this season, and to every one of you who pressed play. Thank you.
So it feels right that this week's episode is a look back at all of them. There is no new woman this week. Instead, I am returning to the nine who sat with me, and to what each of them said when she heard her own story read back.
If you joined partway through the season, this is a good place to catch up. And if you have been here since June, I hope it feels like sitting down with old friends.
There Is Healing in the Telling is live now. Find somewhere quiet and settle in.
THIS WEEK'S SITTING
This one is a loving-kindness meditation. It starts with you and moves out from there, to the women who shaped you and the women walking beside you.
WHAT COMES NEXT
Next week, for the first time, I am telling my own story. The week after, I am telling my mother's. Season Two begins in January.
And I am still looking for women to sit with me. Maybe you have started something new, or come through a divorce. Maybe you are caring for an aging parent, or learning to love your grown children from a little further away. Or maybe, like me, you honestly do not know yet what this next chapter looks like. I would love to hear from you, and you can share your story anonymously if you would rather not use your name.

WISDOM FROM THE CIRCLE
You just sat with one woman's truth. Every Monday I send a letter with more of it, the kind of honesty women usually save for the kitchen table after everyone else has gone to bed. No fixing, no shoulds, just us.
